KEY POINTS

  • The Dragonmaid deck excels at overwhelming enemies with powerful monsters
  • Each Dragonmaid has their own unique function that combos well with the rest of the cards
  • This deck is weak against card effect cancels and banish effects

The Dragonmaid deck in “Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel” is a fun and effective option that players can use if they don’t want to chain themselves to the meta. With a selection of monsters with strong card effects as well as a repertoire of spells and traps, the Dragonmaid deck can be used to compete even up to the mid-high Platinum ranks.

While this deck isn’t as complicated to use as some of the other meta options, it still requires a bit of finesse before it can be played properly. Here’s a full core card list and a short guide on how to use the Dragonmaids in “Master Duel.”

How to play the Dragonmaid Deck

The goal of the Dragonmaid deck is to overwhelm the enemy with high-stat dragon monsters by using monster and spell effects to fill the board. This deck is filled with in-deck and in-graveyard summon effects, which makes spamming monsters easy and relatively realistic. This also means that the Dragonmaid deck can be crippled by banish effects.

All of the normal Dragonmaids are able to transform into their pure dragon forms during the Battle Phase, which can make the summoning of Draglubion very easy and accessible as early as the second turn. However, summoning Sheou and House Dragonmaid should be the priority, as both monsters allow for quick board flooding.

Don’t be afraid to send Dragonmaids to the GY for the sake of fusion summoning Sheou or House Dragonmaid. However, try to save some negate cards that can cancel monster effects or spell/trap cards to prevent important monsters from getting wiped.
