Zara Tindall Told Off Brother Peter Phillips For Swearing During Interview
Zara Tindall told off her brother Peter Phillips for swearing during an interview.
Zara and Peter’s interview years ago has resurfaced. In the clip, the royal siblings talk about their mother Princess Anne’s dedication to the monarchy and how hardworking she is. However, the hilarious footage also showed Zara telling off her older brother because he kept on swearing.
“We were both very much brought up that whatever we did in life we were going to have to work [explicit] hard – whether that’s Zara doing equestrian three-day eventing or me in what I’m doing,” Peter said.
“At the end of the day, we were told we had to work [explicit] hard, so get on and do, don’t complain or quibble about a bit of hard work.”
Zara noticed how Peter swore and turned to him, “You keep swearing.” Peter hilariously put his hand over his mouth and apologized before asking, “It was only once, wasn’t it?”
The siblings laughed and Zara reminded her brother how he usually says that to her.
According to royal expert Ingrid Seward, Queen Elizabeth II is closest to Zara and Peter as they were her first grandchildren and they have always been the monarch’s favorite. Seward added that Her Majesty is most relaxed when she’s with them. She even used to give Zara a smack around the legs whenever she was naughty, which happened frequently.
Meanwhile, another source believed that Queen Elizabeth II’s favorite grandson is the Duke of Cambridge. According to Christopher Andersen in his book “William and Kate: A Royal Love Story,” the Queen has supported Prince William and has embraced Middleton as a “suitable mate for her favorite grandson.”
Queen Elizabeth II has invested time and effort in Prince William. When he was just five, they began a ritual that lasted up until the duke was in college. Every week they would reunite for tea at Windsor Castle or Buckingham Palace where they would bond and discuss his school, sports, movies he liked and music he listened to. The Queen would then slip in a history lesson now and again.
However, according to E! News royal correspondent Melanie Bromley, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince William’s relationship is “half family and half business” because the Duke of Cambridge is the future king. Her Majesty reportedly enjoys a more fun granny-to-grandson relationship with Prince Harry.
