Zayn Malik And Girlfriend Perrie Edwards Win 'Sexiest Men And Women' Online Poll

Former One Direction band member Zayn Malik and his girlfriend Little Mix's singer Perrie Edwards topped the “Sexiest Men and Women” online poll for a radio. Malik beat his former bandmate Harry Styles and other male celebrities to win the poll, while Edwards beat the likes of Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato.

“Thank you @CapitalOfficial but I’m doing a Kanye, this award should be for #QueenB ???? #BowDownToQueenB ??????,” Perrie wrote on Twitter after the results were announced. It’s the first time that a couple has won the "Sexiest Male and Female In Pop” title on Capital FM. Previous winners include Rita Ora, Britney Spears and Josh Cuthbert.

Capital FM asked fans to vote for one male and one female whom they considered sexy. The choice of males: Zayn Malik, Adam Lambert, Harry Styles, Justin Bieber, Luke Hemmings, Niall Horan, Nick Jonas, Louis Tomlinson, Michael Clifford and Calum Hood. For women, fans were asked to choose from Perrie Edwards, Camila Cabello, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, Rihanna, Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and Britney Spears.

Malik and Edwards have been engaged since 2013. “With a Zerrie wedding on the way, knowing that this couple are sexiest in the world, we're positive their babies will have some seriously good DNA,” Capital FM writes about the couple.

Meanwhile, Malik, 22, is jubilant over signing a record deal with RCA records. The singer is currently working on a new album after quitting the band. But Malik also congratulated the remaining One Direction members on the release of their new song, “Drag Me Down.”

“Proud of my boys the new single is sick. Big love. :) x,” Malik tweeted about the song. The track topped iTunes charts in 82 countries just hours after its release, according to Digital Spy.
