Imagine meeting Zendaya. Now imagine meeting Zendaya and FaceTiming Hunter Schafer at the same time. Well, that dream turned into a reality for a trans fan of the hit HBO show, “Euphoria.”

In a video that went viral on Twitter, a fan tells Zendaya that she is transgender and that Schafer was an inspiration to her through “Euphoria.” Zendaya then decided to let the girl tell Schafer herself by FaceTiming the trans actress.

The fan can be seen visibly crying and shaking by the chance to talk to her role model and the fact that Zendaya made it happen, and the actress even snapped a photo of the fan and Schafer on the phone before leaving with a sweet message, “you have all of our love.”

Fans responded to tweet sharing just how kind Zendaya was at this moment.

“Omg @Zendaya is a literal saint!!! Making her fans feel genuinely happy,” one fan said.

“Zendaya’s such a pure human being. Honestly one of the best. She’s so amazing we don’t deserve her,” another fan commented.

“ZENDAYA is my auntys cousin and sent her a bag of fashion nova just because,” someone else responded, recalling another act of kindness by the star.

“Euphoria” was released over the summer and had a huge impact on fans. The show “follows a group of high-school students as they tackle everything, from love and identity to heavier themes such as drugs and sex,” according to Digital Spy. It was also reported that this is HBO’s most popular show for younger audiences, with 5.5 million viewers tuning in to watch the premiere.

Schafer plays Jules, a transgender woman, who “infused Jules’ storyline with her own personal experiences,” as stated by Polygon. Before securing the role, Schafer was an activist and model.

As of now, a second season of “Euphoria” is expected, but a release date has not been confirmed.
