Zendaya, Tom Holland Slam Paparazzi Over Snapping ‘Confusing And Invasive’ Kissing Photos

Actors Tom Holland and Zendaya may be dating, but it doesn’t mean they want private moments from their relationship photographed by the paparazzi.

In a new interview published Wednesday in GQ’s Men of the Year issue, Holland and Zendaya reflected on the photos taken of them kissing in a car in July that exposed their relationship.

“One of the downsides of our fame is that privacy isn’t really in our control anymore, and a moment that you think is between two people that love each other very much is now a moment that is shared with the entire world,” Holland said in the cover story.

Although the “Spider-Man: No Way Home” star is aware of his high profile in Hollywood, there are some things he doesn’t feel the need to discuss.

“I’ve always been really adamant to keep my private life private because I share so much of my life with the world anyway,” he said.

“We sort of felt robbed of our privacy. I don’t think it’s about not being ready. It’s just that we didn’t want to.”

While he was willing to discuss the violation of his privacy, Holland didn’t feel right going into detail about the romance without Zendaya’s knowledge.

GQ later reached out to the 25-year-old actress, whose name is Zendaya Coleman.

Zendaya revealed she felt the special moment shared with Holland was taken from them by the paparazzi. “It was quite strange and weird and confusing and invasive,” she told the publication.

“The equal sentiment [we both share] is just that when you really love and care about somebody, some moments or things, you wish were your own.… I think loving someone is a sacred thing and a special thing and something that you want to deal with and go through and experience and enjoy amongst the two people that love each other.”

Although rumors of Holland and Zendaya’s relationship spread over the summer, the couple didn’t appear to confirm they were dating until September. At the time, the “Tick, Tick… Boom” star shared a special birthday post for the actress on Instagram.
