On Oct. 18, "Zombieland: Double Tap" will hit theaters. This long-awaited sequel stars the core four that fans will remember from the first film in the series, but it will also add some new characters into the storyline.

The film is slated to yet again be anchored by Jesse Eisenberg (Columbus), Emma Stone (Wichita), Woody Harrelson (Tallahassee), and Abigail Breslin (Little Rock), but who else can we expect to make appearances during the continuation of the zombie outbreak?

Aside from the aforementioned main characters that many came to love in the original, Zoey Deutch is also slated to star in the 2019 sequel. Previously, Zoey has made appearances in projects such as "Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior," "Good Kids," and "The Politician." She additionally starred in "The Disaster Artist," which was based on Greg Sestero's book by the same title and chronicled his experience working alongside Tommy Wiseau as they shot the cult classic "The Room."

In "Zombieland: Double Tap," Deutch's character, Madison, is set to be "the stereotypical blonde, ditzy, girly-girl. When speaking of her role, she revealed to Jimmy Fallon that it allowed her to live out all of her "wildest valley girl fantasies."

Rosario Dawson is also set to appear, playing the part of Nevada. When recounting longtime friend Woody Harrelson asking her to join him in the highly-anticipated sequel, she told the New York Post that "that monster truck was one of the big yeses for me, it was like, 'OK, I definitely want to do this!" As of right now, details surrounding her character's storyline remain scarce.

Dawson has previously worked on "Jessica Jones," Sin City: A Dame To Kill For," and the Will Smith movie, "Seven Pounds." She has also done voice acting for "SpongeBob SquarePants" and the 2015 video game "Lego Dimensions."

Additionally, Thomas Middleditch (Flagstaff) and Luke Wilson (Albuquerque) are also in the newest addition to the franchise. Wilson, of course, has appeared in classics such as 2003's "Old School" with Will Ferrell and 2001's "Legally Blonde" with Reese Witherspoon. Middleditch has worked on various projects before assuming the newest role as well, including the horror-comedy "The Final Girls" and an episode of "Rick and Morty."

Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd will also make appearances, both starring as themselves.

“Zombieland: Double Tap” will hit theaters on Oct.18.
