Actres and singer Zooey Deschanel opened Game 4 of the World Series by offering up a flawless rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, Texas, Sunday evening.

Clad in a patriotic red, white and blue minidress, the New Girl actress belted out the National Anthem before the first pitch between the St. Louis Cardinals and the Texas Rangers - with the Rangers ending up winning over the St. Louis Cardinals, 4-0.

Tweeting about the memorable experience during her time at the Texas ballpark, Deschanel wrote, Having so much fun at the #worldseries game 4 in Dallas with @markjakejohnson @HannahSimone @LamorneMorris ! Woo hoo!!!!
