‘13 Reasons Why’ Star Brandon Flynn, Sam Smith Dating? Couple Spotted Kissing
“13 Reasons Why” star Brandon Flynn and Sam Smith are rumored to be dating.
In a series of photos obtained by TMZ, the two can be seen kissing each other on the lips. The publication noted that it was the first time that Flynn and Smith were spotted with each other.
Earlier this week, the rumored couple stepped out for dinner at Catch NYC and was joined by a few friends. An onlooker told People that Flynn and Smith looked “cozy” with each other. They dined at the main dining area of the restaurant and went to the rooftop for some drinks and dancing afterwards.
Last month, the 23-year-old actor showed his support for the LGBTQ community via social media. In his post, Flynn uploaded a photo of the LGBTQ flag with the word “equality” on it and penned a lengthy caption. Even though the actor did not directly confirm his sexuality, he included himself in some of his references. People noted that Smith commented on Flynn’s post with an “x.”
But last month, Smith spoke with Zane Lowe on Beats 1 and said that he is still single. The “Lay Me Down” crooner was last linked to British model Jay Camilleri. “I think I’m even more single than I was when I released ‘In the Lonely Hour,’ so I’m insanely single,” he said.
Smith recently released his new song, “Too Good at Goodbyes,” and admitted that it was inspired by a previous relationship. “What I’ve been through relationship-wise the last year has made me a lot stronger and I feel like I’ve learned some lessons from it,” he said.
Meanwhile, Flynn is best known for his role of Justin in “13 Reasons Why.” Justin was a straight character who was in a relationship with Jessica (Alisha Boe). Throughout the 13 episodes of the hit Netflix series, fans got to see how twisted Justin was. He and Jessica were in a toxic relationship. And when Jessica was raped by his best friend, Bryce (Justin Prentice), he decided to stay silent about it until it was too late.
“13 Reasons Why” has been renewed for Season 2 and will premiere sometime in 2018.
