Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has now launched the 2019 Mopar Dodge Challenger to car fans of its 2019 Dodge R/T Scat Pack. The new edition muscle car celebrates 10 years of factory customization for the automaker and will only be produced in limited quantities.

“Over the last decade, we’ve customized an impressive group of vehicles with exclusive Mopar performance parts and accessories that our enthusiast customers crave,” said Mark Bosanac, head of Mopar Service, Parts & Customer Care at Fiat Chrysler Automotive - North America.

“This year we’re commemorating our tenth Mopar build with another unique and collectible Dodge Challenger, which continues to be the modern muscle car every bit as beloved today as the first generation vehicle was 50 years ago,” he added.

Powering the vehicle is the 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine rated 485 horsepower. The powertrain has 475 pounds-per-feet of torque and is mated to a six-speed manual transmission. A TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic drivetrain is optional.

Performance of the vehicle is enhanced by a Mopar cold air intake that provides better airflow to the engine while a Mopar strut tower braces the chassis, offering increased structural rigidity for added handling, according Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. Brembo four-wheel disc performance brakes are integrated with red calipers, providing plenty of stopping power for the car.

The vehicle is available in two paint schemes – Pitch Black or White Knuckle – available with Mopar Blue center stripes as an option. The interior of the Mopar muscle car has cloth seats with a two-tone Mopar logo emblazoned on their backs. Additional Mopar badging is provided on the passenger air vent and door-sill guards.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles will produce only 100 Mopar Dodge Challengers for 2019 with 90 slated for the U.S. market and another 10 for the Canadian market.

Starting price on the vehicle is $45,835. Orders open in September 2019 with Mopar models expected to arrive at dealers in Q4 2019.

Shares of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles stock were up 0.89 percent as of 3:49 p.m. ET on Thursday.
