Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's relationship is getting serious and it's possible the two may tie the knot in the future.

If the "Suits" star does marry Prince Harry, her life is expected to take a sharp turn. According to Independent, here are some of the things that would probably change in Markle's life after tying the knot with Prince Harry.

1. She may have to give up her acting career.

Most of those who became part of the royal family were reportedly encouraged to give up their careers and focus on their royal duties. In fact, even the crew members of Markle's hit show on USA Network have predicted her impending departure from the series.

"No one gets the impression she's staying on ["Suits"] much longer," an insider said of Markle. "They believe she's going to marry Harry."

2. She can't be active in politics.

The "Horrible Bosses" star is outspoken when it comes to social and racial issues. However, she will not be able to continue being vocal about her beliefs if she marries Prince Harry as royals are prohibited from discussing their specific views publicly, Independent noted.

3. She will get some protection.

Royals are provided with security teams protecting and shadowing them. Once Markle becomes an official member of the royal family, she will have a team of bodyguards that will follow her wherever she goes.

Just last month, NBC Universal provided the actress with a new security protocol when Prince Harry was in Toronto for the 2017 Invictus Games. The network gave Markle round-the-clock protection that included a group of security guards. The security was also extended to her home and the set of "Suits." The royal family will be providing the same protection to her if she becomes Prince Harry's wife.

4. She will have to dress "modestly."

Markle has a good sense of fashion. In fact, when she graced the Invictus Games with a plain button-down white shirt and ripped jeans, her clothes immediately sold out in various stores, and this became a trend known as Meghan Effect. However, her choice of clothing might change when she becomes a royal as Markle will have to dress more formally and modestly.

5. Her title will change.

Once Markle marries Prince Harry, she will be given a formal title, which would either be Royal Highness Princess of Wales or the Duchess of Sussex.
