5 Moments You Missed On 'DOOL,’ ‘Y&R,’ & ‘B&B’ This Week
Fourth of July wasn’t the only thing causing explosive fireworks on “Days of Our Lives,” “The Young and the Restless,” and “The Bold of the Beautiful” this week.
The Fourth of July has come and gone on all three soaps, and with the holiday celebrating America’s independence came a huge amount of new drama as well. In case you missed a minute of the scary twists, shocking turns, unexpected letdowns or jaw-dropping reveals, here are the five biggest things that happened during the week of July 2.
“Days Of Our Lives” (NBC)
Will And Sonny Cover Up A Crime
They didn’t become enemies after their divorce and have even been working together to try and help Sonny (Freddie Smith) overcome the sexual harassment lawsuit that was filed against him. However, he and Will (Chandler Massey) became closer and more bonded than they have been this week after Will gave Sonny the evidence that Leo (Greg Rikaart) was a conman and prostitute. Leo attacked Will and tried to choke him in retaliation, forcing Sonny to step in and pull him off. However, when he did so, he threw him too hard, and his head collided with the mantle, killing him. Now, the two men have a big secret, after rolling Leo’s body up in a rug and deciding to try and stage his death to look like an accident.
Ben Begins Hallucinating
After running out of his medication, Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) began hallucinating and posing a much more serious threat to Ciara (Victoria Konefal), making their situation together in the cabin much more perilous. He was eventually talked down and seemed to calm down, and Ciara was convinced that he would find a way to get his medication again and he would still keep her safe. However, when she woke up from a nap, the cabin was on fire, Ben was nowhere to be found, and she couldn’t escape because of her broken leg. The question now is simple—did Ben begin to hallucinate again and finally do something he may not be able to take back?
“The Young And The Restless” (CBS)
Billy Makes A Risky Gamble
Billy’s (Jason Thompson) old demons seem to officially be back, and his gambling addiction is in full swing. Ever since he got brought into Summer’s (Hunter King) poker game at the apartment, he hasn’t been able to stop setting up secret games, where he has been once again playing with fire. However, he was burned big time after he faced off against an old rival and opted to bet Jaboat, the yacht he bought for the company. He lost that round, losing the pricey prize and risking everything. So far, his secret is still safe with only Summer, but it may not be long before he makes another bad move that loses him even more.
JT Returns
After a long guessing game of “is he or isn’t he,” answers were finally provided in regards to whether or not JT Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) was back in Genoa City, and more shockingly to the women who played a role in his death, alive. The questions are officially done though now, as Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) at least got confirmation—after he showed up outside of Sharon’s house.
“The Bold And The Beautiful” (CBS)
Hope Tells Liam She’s Pregnant
She wasn’t feeling right, and sure enough, Hope (Annika Noelle) received the shock of her life, after learning that she is, in fact, pregnant with Liam’s (Scott Clifton) baby. She told him the news during the Fourth of July fireworks and has acknowledged what he has with Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). However, even though Steffy seemed like she wanted to work things out in a way that would keep her and Liam together but still allow them all to have a civil relationship, it doesn’t seem like things are going to work out that way, as Hope, at Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) urging, seems ready to once again make a play and fight for Liam once more.
