6 ‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 7 Plot Leak Spoilers We Hope Are True
“Game of Thrones” fans have several more months to wait before Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, Tyrion Lannister and the gang grace their television sets again, but leaked spoilers from Season 7 have certainly eased the pain.
In October, eager fans surrounded the set to snag pictures on the sly, revealing major plot points. Now it seems some have gone further than ever before in an attempt to get scoop on the HBO original series.
On Monday, multiple outlets reported on a Reddit thread claiming to contain several important Season 7 plot points, including the ending. The thread, which was posted to the site several weeks ago and has since been deleted, created controversy among dedicated Thronies. According to Deadspin, one Redditor claiming to be close to one of the “major actors/actresses in the show” said that person denounced each and every spoiler in the rumored plot leak. Others were astonished by the sheer detail of the original post, written by awayforthelads, and how well many of the potential plot points fit into what’s already happened on “Game of Thrones.”
HBO has yet to respond to the leak so it’s unclear if the spoilers are legitimate, but the rumored plotlines did contains a number of interesting theories and new directions for the show to go in. Here are six plot leak spoilers we’d like to see in Season 7 of “Game of Thrones”:
Daenerys And Jon Spark Up A Romance:
For six season Thronies have waited on baited breath for Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) to come together for a number of reasons. Not only are both forces to be reckoned with on “Game of Thrones,” but they’re astoundingly good looking. This fact has left some fans hopeful that in time, the two would come together and get romantic. Shippers are likely having mixed feelings following the Season 6, episode 10 reveal that Jon and Daenerys are related, but keep in mind these relationships are not uncommon in the Seven Kingdoms.
Those hoping to see love grow between Jon and Daenerys may be in luck. According to the alleged leak, the two will grow fond of one another after meeting. The post suggests that Jon and Daenerys will sleep together. It is not clear from the post, should it prove true, whether they will be aware of the fact that their relationship is incestual. As is the case with most “Game of Thrones” love stories, Jon and Daenerys’ will reportedly end in tragedy. Awayforthelads’ post claims they will sleep together as The Wall comes down. It also states that Jon will be killed for a second time, this time for good.
A Member Of The White Walkers’ Undead Army Will Be Brought To Kings Landing:
When “Game of Thrones” left off Jon was hard at work alerting others to the threat posed against the Seven Kingdoms by the White Walkers. Many refused to take him seriously and, according to the proposed Season 7 leak, he will continue to struggle to convince others about the validity of his claims. Awayforthelads’ post shared that Jon will arrive in Kings Landing to spread his warning. When Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) and others refuse to believe him, he will enlist the help of Gendry (Joe Dempsie) and the gang to catch a wight, or member of the White Walkers’ army, to bring before them.
Watchers on the Wall was able to confirm that a similar scene was filmed in Seville, Spain. In the scene a wight is caught by Gendry and a small group of helpers and brought before a crowd at the Dragonpit.
Jorah Mormont Will Be Cured Of His Greyscale:
Several seasons ago Jorah (Iain Glenn) was sent away by Daenerys and told not to return until he found a cure for his greyscale, which could potential turn his entire body into stone. It is clear from photos, unless creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss are trying to pull a fast one on Thronies, that Jorah will be returning in Season 7 of “Game of Thrones.” The Reddit post claims that Samwell Tarly (John Bradly) will be the one to find a cure for the disease in a forbidden book inside the Citadel.
Gilly Will Uncover The Truth About The R + L = J Theory:
Since it was revealed in Season 6 that Jon’s parents are Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark, a number of fan theories have cropped up about when and how he will learn about his lineage. Some speculate, based on photos of Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright) on the “Game of Thrones” set in October, that he will reunite with Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) and Jon, telling them everything he’s learned.
A new theory suggests that Gilly will find records of Rhaegar’s annulled marriage to Elia Martell in a forbidden book in the Citadel while learning to read. She will learn that the two later remarried, making Jon legitimately Targaryen and attempt to relay this message to Sam. He will reportedly struggle to understand who she’s talking about, as she’s pronouncing Rhaegar’s name wrong. The book will also apparently contain other important details about Jon, including the fact that his real name may be Aegon.
Direwolves Return:
Throughout the course of “Game of Thrones” a number of the six direwolves have been killed off. Fans of the show were left unsure about the fate of Nymeria, Arya’s beloved wolf. She was last seen in Season 1 and has not returned since.
All that may change in Season 7 of “Game of Thrones,” according to the rumored leak. The youngest Stark girl will reportedly be shown making her way North to continue crossing names off her kill list when she runs into Nymeria again.
Littlefinger Will Be Killed:
Littlefinger (Aiden Gillen) have been stirring up trouble since early in “Game of Thrones.” He will attempt to continue doing so, creating fake drama between Arya and Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) — who awayforthelads claims will come together in Winterfell in Season 7. He will do so using an old letter Sansa wrote to Robb Stark (Richard Madden) while living with the Lannisters. The girls will quickly catch on and Sansa, who will act as the Lady of Winterfell in Jon’s temporary absence, will order his execution. Her younger sister is speculated to be the one to carry out the killing.
Thronies will have to wait until 2017 to find out for sure what happens in Season 7 of “Game of Thrones.” Which rumored spoiler are you most excited about? Sound off in the comment section or catch us on Twitter.
