Bang Si-hyuk is known for being the man behind one of the biggest boy bands in the world today, BTS, and creating an empire in Hybe Entertainment. But before he became a billionaire, he started his career writing and producing songs under the moniker "Hitman" Bang.

In addition to producing many of BTS' hit songs, the Big Hit Music founder, 50, has produced and written tracks for several other South Korean pop stars over the past two decades.

Here are eight songs fans may not know were produced by "Hitman" Bang.

1. "Like Being Hit by a Bullet" by Baek Ji Young

Bang composed several of singer Baek Ji Young's greatest hits, including her 2008 smash success "Like Being Hit by a Bullet." The song continues to be covered by other artists in South Korea today, according to AllKPop.

2. "Bad Guy" by Rain

Bang also helped produced the biggest hit in veteran K-pop artist Rain's discography, "Bad Guy," according to the outlet. One of South Korea's most iconic pop stars in the 2000s, Rain, born Jeong Ji-hoon, released the track and album of the same name in 2002.

3. "Bad Boy" by Wonder Girls

Fans may not be aware that Bang co-produced the song "Bad Boy" from second-generation girl group Wonder Girls' debut studio album, "The Wonder Years."

The Hybe founder produced the single alongside Park Jin-young, also known by his stage name J. Y. Park.

The 2007 album also featured the Wonder Girls' chart-topping single "Tell Me."

4. "No More Perfume On You" by Teen Top

Bang wrote boy band Teen Top's 2011 track, "No More Perfume On You," which has an upbeat and catchy tune that was trending during the mid-2000s.

5. "Ready to Love" by Seventeen

Seventeen became part of Hybe Entertainment after the company acquired the boy band's agency Pledis Entertainment in 2020, AllKPop reported.

Since then, Bang has helped produce a number of their releases, including 2021's "Ready to Love." The music video for the track has garnered 55.6 million views and 1.2 million likes on YouTube since its release.

6. "0X1=Lovesong (I Know I Love you)" by TXT (Tomorrow X Together)

"0X1=Lovesong (I Know I Love you)," from TXT's 2021 album "The Chaos Chapter: Freeze," brings back a pop rock vibe that's rare in the K-pop genre and features relatable lyrics about love and relationships.

Bang produced the song alongside BTS member RM.

7. "Fever" by Enhypen

Enhypen is a rising South Korean boy group that Bang participated in the formation of during the survival competition "I-Land" in 2020.

Since their debut, Bang has participated in the production of the group's EPs and albums, and one of the songs he helped write for the group, "Fever," was among their tracks that immediately hit the hearts of fans.

The music video for "Fever" has garnered 83.7 million views and 3.5 million likes on YouTube since its release last year.

8. "Fearless" by Le Sserafim

Girl group Le Sserafim recently debuted under Hybe's subsidiary Source Music, and has been trending on social media for their debut single, "Fearless."

Bang helped write and produce the track, whose music video has received 112.8 million views and 1.9 million likes on YouTube.
