Adam Levine and girlfriend Behati Prinsloo aren’t just back together: The two are now engaged. The 34-year-old Maroon 5 singer and host of “The Voice” confirmed via a representative that he and 24-year-old girlfriend Behati Prinsloo recently got engaged in Los Angeles.

"Adam Levine and his girlfriend Behati Prinsloo are excited to announce they are engaged to be married," a representative for Levine told People on Tuesday. "The couple recently reunited and Adam proposed this weekend in Los Angeles."

The couple began dating last year, but reportedly broke up sometime in the spring. In the meantime, Levine was seen dating another model, Anne Vyalitsyna. It appears that Prinsloo and Levine are back together for good now.

Back in May, Levine told Oprah Winfrey that he was looking to get married and settle down at some point in the future, though his marriage to Prinsloo may have come a little faster than he was expecting.

"I'm a fan of marriage," he told Oprah. "People think that I keep pooh-poohing marriage, but I love it ... I want to probably be married at some point… I don't feel pressure to get married. I think that when it's time, it's going to be obvious and I'm going to do it and I'm going to really enjoy it."

Meanwhile, MTV News has confirmed that Levine has just signed a contract to continue appearing on “The Voice” at least until the end of 2014.
