The ATCU might not be the bad guys. At least, that’s what Coulson (Clark Gregg) claims in a sneak-peek video for “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Season 3, episode 4. The clip reveals that Coulson already has followed through on his deal to team up with the ATCU on the ABC drama, but his agents aren’t thrilled about it. Meanwhile, Coulson isn’t worrying about his agents who are going after Ward (Brett Dalton), but another clip indicates that maybe he should.

Sneak Peek No. 1

Daisy (Chloe Bennet) and Mack (Henry Simmons) are looking for Lash (Matthew Willig), but they aren’t having much luck. “Something that big can’t just slip away,” Mack says before he hears a noise behind the door. “Man, I had to jinx it, didn’t I?”

They go to the door with their guns raised, but when it opens, they find ATCU agents. They’re all screaming at each other to lower their weapons until Rosalind (Constance Zimmer) tells them all to stop pointing their guns at each other.

“S.H.I.E.L.D. is not the enemy and you definitely don’t want to p--- off the young Agent Johnson here,” Rosalind says.

Coulson comes through and tells his agents that it’s OK, but they’re still concerned. “The other day they wanted Daisy’s head for their trophy case,” Mack says.

Rosalind clarifies that they’re not working against each other this week. They have a common goal and they have to work together.

Sneak Peek No. 2

May (Ming-Na Wen) and Hunter (Nick Blood) are still looking for Ward, but they might be in too deep. May worries that Hunter isn’t thinking everything through. She asks him if he has a date or time for his meeting with the Hydra higher-ups, but he hasn’t been given any information yet.

“The point is I’m moving up the food chain,” Hunter reasons. “That lunatic Kebo is finally bringing me in on a job.”

“Or luring you into a trap,” May points out. “We have to be smart about this.”

May thinks he is being sloppy, but Hunter is willing to take any chance he can to take down Ward. “You were there when Bobbi was bleeding out in my arms,” Hunter says. “Ward did that. If I have a shot at finding him, I’m taking it. I have to before Bobbi gets back in the field.”

His reasoning is enough for May to continue to support the mission, but she still looks like she disapproves.
