Everyone is all about the teamwork on “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” so it’s surprising to see May (Ming-Na Wen) attacking Bobbi (Adrianne Palicki). In a sneak-peek video from Season 3, episode 6 of the ABC drama, May goes after the wounded agent, but it isn’t pure anger driving her. The veteran agent has a motive.

Sneak Peek No. 1

May throws Bobbi up against a wall and explains that Hunter’s (Nick Blood) mission to kill Ward (Brett Dalton) put Andrew (Blair Underwood) in danger. “Hunter nearly cost Andrew his life and he was doing it for you,” May says.

The good news is that despite that cliffhanger a couple of episodes back, Andrew doesn't seem to be dead. The bad news is that May full on attacks Bobbi. The injured agent fights back until May is on the ground.

“So you can fight your own battles,” May says.

“What? You were testing me?” Bobbi asks.

May says she wanted to be sure Bobbi was mission-ready, but her medical tests say otherwise. Bobbi says that her lung isn’t completely healed yet, so Coulson (Clark Gregg) has her benched. May says that Mockingbird is ready and she is leaving for a new mission in 20 minutes.

Sneak Peek No. 2

Ward is moving into his new Hydra headquarters. He sees Kebo (Daz Crawford) and tells him that he should be looking for Werner von Strucker (Spencer Clark). Kebo doesn't respond, but he hands over the phone instead.

“You don’t know my name, but I think you’ve been trying to get my attention,” Gideon (Powers Boothe) says.

Ward mentions that he must be the man that all of the other Hydra agents feared before Ward took over. “What can I do for you?” Ward asks.

“That’s not the correct question,” Gideon says. “The correct question is what I can do for you. The answer, in case you’re wondering, is redemption.”

Ward turns down the offer, but Gideon assures him that he needs it. The former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent claims Gideon doesn’t understand his goals.
