Instagram influencer Alexis Sharkey has been found dead days after she was reported missing, according to her family.

Sharkey’s mother, Stacy Robinault, earlier said on Facebook that the 26-year-old Houston-based influencer had been missing since Friday. But she confirmed late Sunday that they have recovered her daughter’s body.

"It’s with deeply broken hearts that Mike and I want to let you all know that Lexi’s body has been found," Robinault's post read. "We cannot begin to thank you all for your love and the kind words you’ve extended to our family!"

"Please give us this time to grieve this incredible loss to our family and this world!!! We will miss you, Love!!!!" she continued.

The Houston Police Department has not revealed where Sharkey’s body was found or how she died, New York Post reported.

Sharkey, who had more than 26,000 followers on Instagram, moved to Houston earlier this year. She reportedly left home on Friday evening following an argument, didn't take her car and didn't contact her family.

Robinault hadn't spoken to her daughter since before Thanksgiving and was only told by the influencer's husband, Tom Sharkey, on Saturday that Alexis was missing.

"[Tom] called us up to let us know, and that’s when, of course, any parent goes into full panic mode," Robinault told ABC 13.

Meanwhile, Tom shared a photo of Alexis in her wedding dress late Sunday. "Never seen or felt such beauty! You are my world!" he wrote in the caption.

In a separate post, he shared a snap of Alexis holding his hand and showing off her engagement ring. "Most amazing woman," he captioned the image.

Tom also addressed the speculations questioning his involvement in his wife's death. He slammed the commenters and told them to be ashamed of themselves, revealing that he had been working with deputies to find her.

"I just want to say this! While some of you were posting on social media helping us locate my world! And we appreciate all your help, Love and support! Others were waisting [sic] time talking about other things. Basically crap talk! And if my wife would of seen this she would be disappointed in your actions! You all should be ashamed of yourselves!" Tom wrote on Instagram Story.

"I have been assisting the deputies and making phone calls to fine [sic] out what happened to my wife. Next time…. stop and think! And realize! You don’t know it all!" he added.

Tom also received messages of support and condolences following his wife’s passing.

"She’s so beautiful. So sorry for your loss. Such a tragedy," one person commented.

"Justice will be served," another wrote. "I feel strongly that anyone who just lost anyone; no matter who, wouldn’t be able to post on social media. I feel very sad for this situation; for you, Mr. sharkey, and Alexis’ family."
