Amal Clooney Glows In Golden Gown At Tokyo Premiere Of ‘Tomorrowland’
Amal Clooney stole the show at the Tokyo premiere of her husband George Clooney’s new sci-fi movie “Tomorrowland” in a golden silk gown on Monday. The actor, however, played down his look in a black suit with a matching shirt that was kept open at the top, and black shoes.
The human rights lawyer, who is praised the world over for her style, opted for a custom Maison Margiela bias cut dress that was designed by John Galliano. The fashion house also took to its Twitter account and posted a picture of her in the dress, according to People. “Amal Clooney at the #Tomorrowland premiere in Tokyo in a custom Maison Margiela bias cut dress by John Galliano,” the caption said.
The dress had a high neck and featured a floral bow on the left side of her neck. It showed off her very svelte frame and her shoulders. She paired her look with Manolo Blahnik pointed toe high heels. Amal accessorized her look with a Bulgari cocktail clutch bag. The iridescent gold shiny lizard skin box clutch had light pink gold plated hardware. It featured a “Serpenti Hypnotic” frame closure with snake eyes in purple jade and scales in cabochon-cut orchid calcite.
The 37-year-old attorney wore small earrings and a gold watch. Her raven hair was let down and was clipped behind her left ear in a messy style. Her flawless makeup consisted of pink lipstick. The couple looked loved up as they came for the premiere of the film. George appreciates her fashion sense an in a recent interview, he said: “She’s stunning and has a great sense of style -- there’s no stylist or anything,” talking to E! He added that she picks out her clothes in the middle of a busy work schedule.
The Hollywood power couple touched down in Tokyo on Sunday. All eyes were on Clooney’s wife as she walked in an eye-catching crochet Missoni dress from its Pre-Fall 2015 collection. George, 54, kept it simple in jeans, a T-shirt promoting his own Casamigos tequila, and a black leather jacket.
The British-Lebanese lawyer’s dress featured stripes in colors like turquoise, periwinkle, and kelly green, chaneling the summer look. She paired her look with fringe-trim platform wedge sandals by Valentino. The footwear had espadrille trimming and trendy tassels. She finished off her look with oversize Prada sunglasses, and a neutral satchel. The lawyer wore pink lipstick and a pair of earrings, while her dark tresses were left open with curls at the bottom.
