Julia Roberts Is 'Enamored' Of George Clooney's Wife Amal Clooney

Amal Clooney reportedly has lots of admirers and the recent one on her list is George Clooney’s “Ocean’s Eleven” co-star Julia Roberts. The Academy Award winner recently revealed in an interview that she is smitten by Amal.

"We went out to dinner. Oh yes, George doesn't need my approval, but I am quite enamored of her,” Roberts told "Extra," as People reported. George and Julia have been friends for a long time. They were recently shooting the film "Money Monster" in New York City and it was there that Julia had a chance to meet Amal. The threesome apparently dined at Claudette on April 20.

Amal and George got married last year in Venice, Italy. Since then, Amal has become a center of media attention. Her fashion sense has become the talk of the globe and fashion critics have applauded her for it. Amal is a London barrister and her clients include Julian Assange, founder of WikiLeaks.

Moreover, George -- who is currently promoting his film “Tomorrowland” -- also can’t stop gushing about his wife. He has revealed in many interviews that his life has changed for good since marrying Amal. He also revealed to "Access Hollywood" that he was “intimidated” by Amal. “She's an incredibly warm, wonderful person so it's always intimidating. I think everyone gets intimidated,” he said.

Meanwhile, “Money Monster” is being directed by Jodie Foster. The film is a thriller about a TV personality (Clooney) who is taken hostage by a viewer after the latter loses his money on a bad stock tip by Gates. Alan Di Fiore, Jim Kouf and Jamie Linden have written the film and it stars Clooney, Roberts, Jack O'Connell, Dominic West and Caitriona Balfe.

Roberts also spoke with Extra about working with Foster. “George and I were pinching each other just thinking 'How did we end up with this brainiac girl?' It was awesome,” she said, as People reported.
