Amber Heard trended on Twitter as many people criticized her and called her a psychopath amid the ongoing trial.
Johnny Depp already rested his case after presenting his witnesses and testifying under oath in the past weeks. On Wednesday, Heard began her testimony and continued it Thursday. However, many netizens were not convinced by her statements, with some claiming she was only acting and faking it.
Others accused her of being a psychopath. The hashtag #amberheardisapsychopath or "Amber Heard is a psychopath" started to trend on Twitter Thursday evening.
"We must NOT let Amber heard's PR team trying to paint her the victim. People of the world knows the truth that Depp is the victim in all of this!" one wrote.
"Amber Heard actually ENCOURAGED Johnny Depp to drink and take pills. She gave him whiskey shots before bed. Why? To collect blackmail evidence and rip him off. She almost succeeded #amberheardisapsychopath #AmberHeardlsALiar #JusticeForJohnnyDepp," another stated.
"Sounds like she’s gone far beyond #AmberHeardlsALiar, and we’ve reached #amberheardisapsychopath. I can’t believe Johnny got out of this relationship alive tbh. Guess destroying his life was option 2 #JusticeForJohnnyDepp," a third person added.
"I'm thankful Johnny Depp is even still alive at all. Amber Heard is one of the scariest women I've ever seen. This is her in between her 'trauma' [and] 'monologues'. #justiceforjohnny #AmberHeardlsALiar #amberheardisapsychopath," a fourth netizen opined.
"#amberheardisapsychopath Amber Heard steals movie lines and then, to top it off, steals her assistant's story of domestic abuse," one wrote, referring to her former personal assistant Kate James. "BTW, If I had been beaten and raped as many times as she claims I would not be able to walk. How is it Amber Heard has NO marks and no witnesses?"

"She's prone to overly dramatic presentations, lots of descriptive flowery words like magical, which lacks any substance. You'll see quick shifts in emotions and become very animated, to sad." #DeppVsHeard #amberheardisapsychopath pic.twitter.com/hTMu0t2DsO
Amber Heard acts like she doesn’t know about drugs. She admitted to the nurse she had been addicted to cocaine and alcohol herself. She lied on the stand over and over about this. #amberheardisapsychopath #AmberHeardlsALiar #JohnnyDeppvAmberHeard pic.twitter.com/0VU2psFZZh

Meanwhile, Heard's supporters have continued to back her as she testifies in court.
"The Depp / Heard trial is a festival of misogynist hate. To all those engaged in the dehumanization of a courageous individual who is defending her name and her history against institutionalized abuse, I don't know how you live with yourself," Heard's pal Eve Barlow tweeted.
"I literally vomited hearing sexual abuse testimony. @realamberheard I'm sorry you experienced this! This is awful; watching it to support you & all moms," one fan wrote.
"[H]ad to mute certain words and phrases on Twitter, while this Johnny Depp trial is going on. As someone who supports Amber Heard, I'm sick of seeing stuff like 'Amber Turd' and 'Amber Heard is a Liar' trending on my page constantly. Out of support for her, I'm muting that stuff now," another added.
"It’s a dumb thing but I debated unfollowing an influencer over their support of Johnny Depp and their posts calling Amber Heard a liar. She clearly got pounded on and assaulted in that relationship. What the hell," a fourth user tweeted.
"Amber admitted hitting Johnny after [getting] abused time after time. If my husband hit me, I would do the same to fight back. Support Amber Heard," a fifth person commented.
Ms Heard gave him her heart and soul. She loved him unconditionally and only asked for his love in return. She wanted to live her life with him, raise a family and grow old. All she got back was broken dreams, abuse and a shattered heart @realamberheard #IStandWithAmberHeard pic.twitter.com/KuA3L8rdCG

In the end we’ll see who were the idiots and which of actually did the right thing and supported the right person. A lot of you will have regrets for all of your rude and ignorant comments. Those of us who support Ms Heard do so with honor and respect not with ignorant remarks.

Let this hashtag #IStandWithAmberHeard shine higher than all the pro abuser Depp supporter hastags. Comment. Retweet.. to boost support for Amber Heard and ALL #domesticviolence survivors who are currently on trial right now.

#IStandWithAmberHeard more & more every day because of the parallels between her experience & mine. Before she even testified I picked up on the red flags in Johnny's version of events. It's disgusting how a man with enough power & influence can twist facts & mislead the public

Depp is suing Heard for defamation for the 2018 op-ed she wrote about being a domestic violence survivor. The "Pirates of the Caribbean" star denied the allegation and said Heard was not a victim but a perpetrator. He also alleged that the story was fabricated, and even if it did not mention his name, it ruined his career and reputation.
