Amber Heard was spotted shopping at a discount department store, weeks after she lost in ex-husband Johnny Depp's defamation trial against her.

The "Aquaman" star, 36, sported jeans and an oversized white button-down shirt when she went shopping at a TJ Maxx in Bridgehampton, New York, Thursday afternoon.

In a video obtained by TMZ, Heard was accompanied by her sister, Whitney Henriquez, who was by her side throughout the trial and testified on her behalf.

The pair perused racks of clothes and, at one point, was heard discussing white linen pants, unnamed sources told the outlet. Their baskets were full of would-be purchases, but it is unclear what, if anything, Heard bought at TJ Maxx.

The sighting received mixed reactions on Twitter, with some suggesting that it could be a PR stunt.

"It’s a PR stunt after they spotted her getting off a private jet and renting a $22,000-per-month mansion," one person claimed.

Another user wrote, "As if anyone would believe this PR stunt. Since when do celebrities no longer get designer clothes as gifts? They get boxes of it every day, don't they? Heard is so transparent it hurts."

A third person called Heard's outing at TJ Maxx a "staged little scene."

Some Twitter users, however, slammed those shaming Heard for shopping at the store, while others criticized those who filmed the actress and her sister.

"What's wrong with TJ Maxx???" one person tweeted.

"People are so gross. Following a lady through a store," a second user wrote.

"TMZ wasn’t tipped off. They obtained the footage from a member of the public. ... Amber can’t even shop without being dragged into some conspiracy," another added.

This comes weeks after Heard's lawyer Elaine Bredehoft said the actress can't afford to pay the roughly $10 million judgment she owes Depp.

On June 1, a Virginia jury found that Heard defamed Depp in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed about surviving domestic abuse and awarded him $10.35 million in damages. Heard was awarded $2 million in damages after the jury found that Depp defamed her via his lawyer.

Before the verdict was announced, unnamed sources told the New York Post in early June that Heard was "broke" due to huge amount of legal fees associated with the former couple's legal battle.

The actress was relying on her homeowner's insurance policy to cover the cost of her attorneys, multiple sources told the outlet.

Legal analyst Emily D. Baker told People that Heard's and Depp's lawyers could negotiate the judgment if the actress is unable to fulfill the payments.

She cited Ben Chew, one of Depp's lawyers, as saying in his closing argument that the case "has never been about money" or about "punishing" Heard.

"I imagine that they will try to settle it, and you'll see a PR statement that they are not seeking to enforce the judgment," Baker suggested.
