‘America’s Got Talent’ 12 Spoilers: Evie Clair, Darci Lynne Farmer Face Off
“America’s Got Talent” Season 12 will see Evie Clair and Darci Lynne Farmer facing off against each other in the semifinals on Tuesday night.
Clair and Farmer are both 13-year-old singers who wowed the judges and audiences for very different reasons. Clair revealed during her audition that her dad is battling Stage 4 colon cancer. Her songs are inspirational and moving, and she has always brought judge Mel B to tears with her every performance.
After singing in the judge cuts round, Clair barely made it to the quarterfinals. After all, the judges noted that she wasn’t in her element at that time. In the quarterfinals, Clair showed more improvement in her singing, but she was also one of the three contestants who received the sixth to eighth ranking. As such, she competed in the Dunkin Save and made it to the semifinals.
Farmer, on the other hand, impressed the judges during her audition a few months ago. The petite talent belted out as a song while doing some ventriloquism. Mel B gave Farmer her golden buzzer, which meant that she went straight to the quarterfinals.
During her second performance, Farmer once again did a wonderful job and became one of the five contestants who made it straight to the semifinals. Gold Derby is predicting that Farmer could win “America’s Got Talent” Season 12.
But since the competition is fierce and Clair and Farmer aren’t the only two acts that will perform next week, anything can still happen in the reality TV show. Also performing live for America’s votes are singers Yoli Mayor and Simon Cowell’s golden buzzer Mandy Harvey.
Comedian Preacher Lawson, dog act Sara & Hero and magician Eric Jones are expected to up their game to ensure a spot in the grand finals. However, out of the 10 acts that will perform on Tuesday night, only half of them will go straight to the grand finals. In the end, only one could be declared the winner and will bring home the $1 million grand prize.
“America’s Got Talent” Season 12 airs Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EDT on NBC.
