Angelina Jolie allegedly insisted that her ex-husband Brad Pitt should quarantine for two weeks before seeing their children after traveling to France with his new girlfriend Nicole Poturalski last month.

Jolie wanted to make sure that her kids are safe from COVID-19 even from their dad who just returned from a trip abroad. So, she asked Pitt to quarantine for two weeks before meeting them, according to a source.

"Angelina insisted Brad quarantine for 14 days after he returned from France, citing a rise in COVID-19 cases in the country," an insider told Us Weekly.

"She didn’t want to chance the kids getting it."

The "Ad Astra" actor wanted to shorten the wait and suggested to take two tests days apart instead of waiting for two weeks. But Jolie refused, so Pitt agreed to quarantine and has since "resumed seeing the kids," the tipster added.

Pitt's trip to France made headlines because he was spotted at an airport in Paris with German model Nicole Poturalski. The sighting sparked dating rumors and shortly after that, several outlets confirmed that the two are an item.

Dating Poturalski has raised some eyebrows because she is married and even has a son. However, according to an insider who spoke with Daily Mail exclusively, Poturalski and her husband Roland Mary are in an open relationship. Another issue that arose at the time was Pitt’s decision to take Poturalski to Chateau Miraval, his marital home with Jolie in France.

Several called out Pitt for being insensitive especially that their visit happened in the same week he married Jolie on the estate six years ago. However, another source came forward and said the “One Upon a Time in Hollywood” star didn’t care about Jolie’s reaction.

"Taking Nicole to Miraval on their former wedding anniversary, Brad knows exactly what he is doing and the reaction it’s going to get from Angelina," the source told Us Weekly.

"He just doesn’t care if Angelina is going to lash out. He expects she will.”
