Angelina Jolie is not doing things to taint Brad Pitt's reputation.

According to a report from NW, the "Maleficent" star is purposely not eating in an effort to make her ex-husband look bad and convince the people that he's "the villain in their split." Gossip Cop debunked the report and stated that it was "thin on proof."

An unidentified source told NW that the "Salt" actress is "going to dangerous lengths to take down" Pitt. "She's starving herself to essentially say to the world, 'Look at what Brad's done to me,'" the alleged source said.

"Angie's grabbing handfuls of nuts and berries here and there, but generally it's gallons of coffee and lemon water that gets her through the day," the insider continued. "She seems to think it's her secret weapon [against Brad]."

The tabloid insisted that Jolie is willing to do anything to take the "Furious" actor down. It also asserted that Jolie is still "in love" with her ex. "There's a lot of emotion and history… There are very strong feelings," the source claimed.

Gossip Cop, however, noted that Jolie has always been thin. This matter has been covered by several outlets for years now. Just recently, one publication invited a nutrition expert to lend credibility to the rumors about Jolie's alleged eating disorder following the breakdown of her marriage to Pitt.

"Looks can be deceiving, but my concerns are raised when someone has little to zero body fat for extended periods of time, especially if they're not a serious athlete," Caroline Craven, a nutritionist at theGirlwithMS.com told Hollywood Life. "Bodies need calories to function best and if they don't receive them, then they are forced to feed off of reserves. Bodies need a reserve in the case something goes wrong such as an unexpected illness. Unfortunately, Hollywood tends to like skin and bones."

"As far as what would be a healthy weight for Angelina's height at 5'7, I'm not a fan of using numbers with weight,” the nutritionist added. "Everyone is built differently. It's how one feels. I would ask her if she has the energy to live the life she wants. And is she reducing modifiable risk factors that could cause illness and death?"

Jolie's relationship with Pitt is intact. At the time the exes are still sorting out the custody of their six children.
