Ant Anstead Talks Traveling With Girlfriend Renee Zellweger, Raising Son Hudson

Ant Anstead and his girlfriend Renee Zellweger may be busy with their careers, but they've also been taking some time to sightsee.

Anstead, 42, recently spoke about his romance with the actress during an interview with Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet of a Los Angeles screening of the new Discovery+ documentary "Introducing Selma Blair," which debuts Thursday.

The "Celebrity IOU: Joyride" host revealed that he's been spending time with the "Bridget Jones's Diary" star in New Orleans, where she's currently filming the NBC miniseries "The Thing About Pam."

Anstead shared that he flew to New Orleans "a couple of weeks ago" to spend time with Zellweger and that he plans to return "this weekend." He added that they both love to explore the iconic city.

"I am fascinated by history. I'm a bit of a nerd when it comes down to it, so Renee and I did one of those ghost tours. Bear in mind I am from London, where there's very old history, but wow, pirates, voodoo, all of it," he told ET.

He added, "We wandered into this little jazz room, and it was really amazing. She's a good traveler and she's been to that city before, so it's nice. Looking forward to getting back."

While his girlfriend is busy filming in the Big Easy, the TV personality said he's been battling sleep deprivation as he raises his 2-year-old son Hudson, whom he shares with ex-wife Christina Haack.

"I think, when a child hits two, they call it the Terrible Twos for a reason," he explained. "I'd like to think that you try and get a routine and the moment that you give in they win. And I've given in! So I've been joining Hudson in bed at 4 o'clock every morning."

He added, "I try and steal a few extra hours of sleep but the truth is that I'm [usually] half awake making sure I don't roll over."

The "Wheeler Dealers" star is also dad to 18-year-old daughter Amelie and 15-year-old son Archie, from his previous marriage.

Anstead's romance with Zellweger made headlines shortly after his divorce from the "Flip or Flop" star was finalized in July. An unnamed source previously told Us Weekly that he's excited about life after meeting Zellweger.

Anstead met the Oscar winner on the set of "Celebrity IOU: Joyride," his new show on Discovery+ with co-host Cristy Lee. The pair reportedly hit it off immediately.
