Apple Talks Consumer Privacy In Light Of PRISM Scandal [Infographic]
When news first broke of NSA’s PRISM program, in which the national security agency gained access to communications and user data of millions of private individuals, Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) was one of the first companies to deny any involvement with the government program.
Today, the company released a statement that outlines exactly how it interacts with U.S. law enforcement agencies and under what circumstances it provides consumer data to such authorities.
Compared to the data of the millions of Verizon customers that the NSA had access to, Apple’s numbers are barely a fraction of a drop in the bucket, if their claims are to be believed.
