Are ‘Baywatch’ Stars Zac Efron And Alexandra Daddario Dating? Actor Teases Growing Romance

Although the two continue to deny that they are a couple, Zac Efron and Alexandra Daddario have been plagued by dating rumors for quite some time. The actors, who star in the upcoming “Baywatch” film, have been spending a lot of time together due to their obligations to promote the movie and fans are constantly shipping the possible romance.

Although the two have shared several cozy pictures and participated in some online flirtation, Daddario denied rumors that the two are dating while she attending the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night.

“We work together closely; he’s my love interest in the film. I understand why people would go crazy over something like that, but Zac and I are very good friends,” the actress told E! News.

Even though she did insist that she is not dating Efron, the actress hinted that she could imagine what their children would look like. “Yeah, we would have very blue-eyed children, wouldn’t we?” she said.

Rumors of the two being more than just co-stars became more notarized when the actress shared a photo of Efron giving her a kiss on the cheek backstage at the MTV Movie and TV Awards earlier this month. “@mtv movie and tv awards backstage shenanigans with @zacefron #SummerandBrody,” she captioned the photo.

Prior to that, the actress shared a photo of herself on Instagram taking a selfie of the seating arrangement for the award show revealing that she was seated next to Efron. “#MTV awards seat preview #portraitofaselfie,” the actress wrote.

Later on, Efron left a comment revealing he was thrilled to be spending the evening with Daddarrio. “Heck yeah—I’m officially excited for the MTV awards. Thanks seating gods,” the actor wrote.

Although the two seemed to have formed a tight-knit friendship, the actor revealed that the bond between the two is still growing. During an interview in Australia with The Project, the two exchanged some flirtatious banter and began to finish one another’s sentences.

The actor began to speak about the weird cravings that he has had since removing carbohydrates from his diet when Daddario joined in on the conversation. “Like, you’re laying in bed and you haven’t had carbohydrates in five days, and you’re just like, I really want…”

“Fried pickles,” the two said at the same time.

When asked about the two being at the center of constant dating rumors Efron paused before saying, “Nothing but our shared love of…”

“Pickles,” the actress said finishing his sentence.

“So far,” the actor teased.

Prior to being romantically linked to Daddario, Efron was in a relationship with model Sami Miro for almost two years before ending the romance. Sources told E! News that distance and work schedules were the reason for the end of the relationship and that “the spark had died.”

Before his relationship with Miro, Efron was romantically linked to several Hollywood starlets but was in a serious relationship with actress Vanessa Hudgens from 2005-2011.

Meanwhile, Daddario was engaged to Logan Lerman however, the relationship ending in 2016. Before that, she was romantically linked to singer Trey Songz and actor Jason Fuchs.
