‘Baywatch’ Stars Alexandra Daddario, Ilfenesh Hadera Gush Over Zac Efron’s Abs
Zac Efron filmed several shirtless scenes for the upcoming action-comedy film “Baywatch,” so there’s no way his female co-stars wouldn’t notice his insanely sculpted abs.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Alexandra Daddario and Ilfenesh Hadera were asked if they had ever come up close and personal with Efron’s rock-hard abdominals while filming the movie.
“Yes! I actually did [touch them],” said Daddario who plays Efron’s love interest in the flick. “Early on, I had to do a scene where I had to flirt with him and touch his waist.”

“It was sort of like … I wasn’t prepared. It was like an animalistic shock went through me,” she recalled of the time she got to touch Efron’s abs. “I don't know, he’s like not human. He's like something Michelangelo carved. I’ve never seen a man that looks like him. It's incredible.”
Although Hadera didn’t come into physical contact with Efron’s toned tummy, the actress admitted that she often found herself staring at her co-star’s incredible physique on set. “I didn’t go for the ab touch,” Hadera said. “They’re so kind of like unreal that you just wanna leave ‘em alone.”
Although Hadera finds Efron ridiculously sexy, she was quick to point out that his co-star is more than just an eye candy. “He’s wonderful and he’s smart and so talented,” Hadera said of the “High School Musical” alum. “So, you know, he becomes less of a body and more of Zac Efron this great guy.”
Daddario and Hadera aren’t the only female “Baywatch” cast members who have gushed about Efron’s seemingly flawless hunky body. Priyanka Chopra, who plays the antagonist in the film, also talked about Efron’s abs in an interview with E! News at CinamaCon last month.
“I didn’t think it was real initially,” Chopra said of Efron’s carved stomach. “[I thought] there’s gotta be some air brushing or paint brushing or whatever people do … but I can vouch for them. I have seen them for real. They are real and I was shocked.”
“He is forever training,” the “Quantico” star added of her co-star. “I watched him [train] and I ate. I was always eating whenever Zac was training. I don’t know why I always got hungry seeing him work so hard.”
“Baywatch,” which also stars Dwayne Johnson, Kelly Rohrbach and Jon Bass, among many others, opens in theaters on May 25.
