Are Tara Reid And Dean May Faking Their Relationship? 'Marriage Boot Camp' Counselors Call Out Actress In Sneak Peek [VIDEO]
There's a scandal brewing in the "Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars" house, and it centers around Tara Reid and Dean May's confusing relationship. In a sneak peek of Friday's episode 10, counselors Jim and Elizabeth Carroll are seen confronting Tara and Dean after they learn some troubling news about the couple.
In the video, posted by People magazine, Jim confronts the "Sharknado 4" actress and the party promoter asking them if there is something they'd like to share about their relationship. Tara and Dean both look confused and don't seem to understand what Jim is hinting at. "That it's not working right now," Tara responds.
Jim and his wife then ask the pair why they wanted to be a part of the show, and tell them that they overheard Tara telling a producer that she's not in a romantic relationship with Dean. During Tara's sit-down with the producer she says: "Part of the reason we did the show is because [Dean] owes money and taxes and he could use the money and he wouldn't mind the fame … so I wanted to do the show for him so he would get out of trouble."
After the counselors play Tara's confession, Dean gets angry and threatens to leave the house. According to Us Weekly, Tara and Dean hinted their relationship wasn't legit during last week's episode 9 of the WEtv series. The outlet reported that Tara and Dean were heard on camera in their bedroom discussing their close bond as friends. "I mean we're just friends," he tells her one night. "We're not having a relationship." Upon hearing the pair's conversation, Jim and Elizabeth say they've had their suspicions all along that Tara and Dean have been hiding something.
Whether Tara and Dean have remained friends after the show remains a mystery. The pair hasn't posted photos of each other on social media in a while. The last post Dean made about Tara was in February.
"Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars" airs Fridays at 9 p.m. EDT on WEtv.
