Ariana Grande Granted Restraining Order Against Stalker Who Tried To Kill Her, Harassed Her
Pop star Ariana Grande was granted a five-year-long restraining order Tuesday against a man who terrorized her home multiple times and made death threats.
Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Reginald approved the restraint until 2026.
Aharon Zebulun Brown, 23, will not be permitted to come within a certain amount of space from Grande without legal obligations.
"The fact that Mr. Brown has been regularly coming to my home for over six months terrifies me. I am also fearful because Mr. Brown has been recently been coming to my home every day, has threatened violence, and has brought a weapon to my home," Grande said in her statement to the court.
"Based on his threats, I am fearful for my safety and for the safety of my family. I fear that absent a restraining order, Mr. Brown will continue to come to my home and attempt to physically harm or murder me or members of my family."
Grande said Brown showed up at her house on Sept. 11 with a knife and was shouting threats outside her home, during this visit he told her security guard, "I'll f---ing kill you and her."
Brown tried to flee the location when police arrived. He was later arrested and taken into custody, according to Los Angeles police Detective Peter Doomanis.
"Upon conducting a pat-down search of Mr. Brown, LAPD officers recovered a knife from Mr. Brown's front pant pocket," Doomanis said.
Brown had shown up to Grande's house nearly every day for about three weeks before he was eventually arrested, according to Grande's manager.
Grande, 28, is considered one of the top pop singers in the world.
