Ariana Grande, Mac Miller Dating: ‘My Favorite Part’ Rapper Gushes Over ‘Warm And Comforting’ Girlfriend

Ariana Grande’s new boyfriend Mac Miller has opened up about how their relationship transitioned from a friendship to a romantic one.

The “My Favorite Part” rapper told People during an interview that he and the “Side To Side” singer have always been good friends, and their romantic relationship now is just a product of an organic evolution of that friendship.

Miller said he asked Grande if they can collaborate on one of his songs for his new album, and the singer agreed. They have stayed in touch ever since. It was not the first time for them to work together, though. The two also collaborated for Grande’s song “My Way.”

The rapper said that while they haven’t worked together for a long time, there was no awkwardness when they got together again. He also said that the time apart has given both of them a different appreciation for each other.

Miller also gushed about how “warm and comforting” his girlfriend is.

The couple has already made their relationship “Instagram official.” The two posted sweet photos of each other to the social media networking site. The “Dangerous Woman” singer posted a photo of her and Miller in a playful position. Though Miller’s face cannot be seen in the photo, Grande tagged him.

Prior to posting photos on Instagram, the two were spotted packing on PDA quite a few times. They also went to the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards together.

Grande was asked by E! News to comment on the status of her relationship with Miller a couple of weeks ago. The singer said the rapper was the “best,” although she did not confirm if they were already an item. Grande did say that she enjoys working with Miller.

Grande and Miller first sparked dating rumors in 2013. At the time, however, Grande had a boyfriend, and Miller said she was just a “homie.”
