Ariana Grande Releases Track About New Romance After Admitting Mac Miller Relationship On ‘Ellen’
Ariana Grande has released a new track and the timing is just perfect.
In the song, titled “Knew Better Part Two,” the singer croons about a new relationship. The singer also raps a little bit on the track. Grande rhymes: “And I ain’t even worry about it this time/ I know he gonna be the one to treat me just right/ Never had a motherf***er this tight/ So, baby, this is what your soul mate look like/ I look good, right?”
The release of the song comes shortly after Grande admitted during an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show" that she and rapper Mac Miller are dating. Despite trying to dodge Ellen DeGeneres’s questions, Grande let it slip that she and the “My Favorite Part” rapper are now an item.
“This is so crazy,” Grande said. “I’ve never had the, like, relationship talk on a show before.”
Miller, on the other hand, was more open about what is going on between the two of them. In an interview with People, the rapper detailed how their friendship turned into something more romantic. He also gushed over the singer, calling her “warm and comforting.”
Prior to the interviews, Grande seemingly confirmed her relationship with Miller by posting an Instagram photo of them together. She captioned the photo simply with “babbyy.”
The two were also spotted several times together shortly after Grande’s split from backup dancer Ricky Alvarez. Grande and Miller also went to the 2016 MTV Music Video Awards together. Grande also referred to Miller as the “best” when asked by E! News to comment on the status of their relationship. She also said that she loves working with him.
Rumors about their relationship first started swirling in 2013 when they collaborated on Grande’s track “My Way.” The two denied the speculations. Miller described Grande as his “homie” at the time. Miller added that Grande was in a relationship back then.
