Ashley Williams Debuts Baby Bump; ‘How I Met Your Mother’ Alum Expecting Second Child [PHOTOS]
Ashley Williams is pregnant with her second child with husband Neal Dodson.
Williams, who is known for her role as Victoria on the CBS’ sitcom “How I Met Your Mother,” debuted her burgeoning baby bump at the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies and Mysteries Winter 2017 TCA Press Tour event in Pasadena, California on Saturday night, Jan. 15. The “The Jim Gaffigan Show” alum was accompanied by her sister and fellow actress Kimberly Williams Paisley to the event.
Screenwriter Erik Patterson, who was present at the gathering, also posed for some photos with the expecting mom.
A day prior to the event, Williams announced that she and Dodson are expecting another baby together. In a tweet, Williams told her fans that their 2-year-old firstborn, Gus Williams, is going to be a big brother this coming spring.
Williams Paisley congratulated her sister with a hilarious reply to her tweet.
Williams’ pregnancy comes four months after she opened up about her miscarriage in a candid essay for the Human Development Project. In the lengthy piece, the 38-year-old actress recalled how she found out that she miscarried during an outing at Whole Foods with her first child. Despite her struggle post-miscarriage, she wrote at the time that she was not giving up on expanding their brood.
“I invite you to start, with me, a vocal army of the 25-percenters who can normalize miscarriage in the social sphere,” Williams wrote, talking to the 25 percent of women who suffer a miscarriage. “I was right there next to you at Whole Foods, bleeding out of my shorts. Now I’m well. I’m a survivor. Healed, I will try again.”
Williams will be next seen in the Season 6 premiere of “Girls,” titled “All I Ever Wanted,” airing on Sunday, Feb. 12 at 10 p.m. EST on HBO. She also stars opposite Zachary Quinto, Jenny Slate and Jon Hamm in the upcoming drama film “Aardvark.”
