It is confirmed that Ashton Kutcher will be replacing Charlie Sheen on the popular hit TV comedy show Two and a Half Men. The contract signs Kutcher for the new season though it has not been revealed how much he earns per episode.

Sheen was earning $2 million per show but the actor's impromptu removal has left CBS and Warner Bros. pressured to keep the high rated sitcom running without a main star. With Kutcher signed on, Warner Bros is expecting to collect millions from syndication fees and other broadcast network deals for the show's 9th and 10th seasons. Kutcher has been headlined as replacing Sheen's role but producers have announced that Ashton will instead be playing a new character.

Kutcher started his path to fame on the hit show That 70's Show, produced MTV's Punk'd, and film role in No Strings Attached. He has been an icon in pop culture especially on the social network site Twitter where he currently has over 6 million followers. The new Two and a Half Men star proclaims his excitement on being on the show's cast.

I can't wait to get to work with this ridiculously talented 2.5 team, and I believe we can fill the stage with laughter that will echo in viewers' homes...I can't replace Charlie Sheen, but I'm going to work my ass off to entertain the hell out of people, said Kutcher.

Skeptics say Kutcher will not meet the same level of Sheen's performance and TV stardom, but Ashton's charisma, female fan following, and youth can bring new dimensions to the profitable sitcom.
