The official preview trailer for "Attack on Titan" Season 4, Episode 12 (or Episode 71) shows a massive explosion. It remains to be seen if this is executed by the Marleyan forces.

Fans can recall in the previous episode, Theo Magath announces that they need at least six months before they can attack Paradis Island. He wants to forge alliances to counter the island. Colt is unhappy that they need to wait that long as Gabi and Falco remain in hostile conditions behind enemy lines.

Others chime in and talk about how important Gabi and Falco are for Marley. Pieck tells Magath they would take a considerable amount of time to train new candidates and make them mission-ready.

Magath believes that if they go alone against the enemies, they will be defeated. Meanwhile, Reiner Braun notes that Zeke Jaeger would think Marley will wait to form an alliance before attacking.

He adds that Zeke wouldn't expect the Marleyan army to fight again after this heavy defeat. Reiner tells Magath that they need to plan a surprise attack against Paradis Island.
