‘Baby, It’s Cold Inside’ Hallmark Movie Premiere: Trailer, Synopsis, Cast
Fans are still going to need to wait a little bit longer for Hallmark’s highly-anticipated Summer Nights lineup of films, but the network is still giving them something to be excited about, with the premiere of the new film, “Baby, It’s Cold Inside,” starring Jocelyn Hudon and Steve Lund.
Th film should be an exciting one, with fans likely to be excited by the two stars. Hudon has been a regular in various Hallmark titles over the years, including the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries film “Love Locks,” as well as the Hallmark films “the Christmas Cure” and “From Friend To Fiance.” However, fans likely recognize her most from her role as Grace Bennett on both “When Hope Calls” and “When Calls The Heart.”
As for Lund, Hallmark fans likely also recognize him, as he has had roles in Hallmark’s “Christmas Incorporated” and “The Christmas Cottage,” as well as Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ “Unlocking Christmas.” He may also be recognizable for his roles as Nick Sorrentino on “Bitten,” Luc Narcisse on “Reign” or Jake on “Schitt’s Creek.”
However, this will be the first project these two star in together. So what can fans expect?
“Top-level travel agent Hanna (Hudon) is asked by her company to forgo her family holiday cruise and travel to the Ice Hotel to research it as a vacation destination,” a synopsis reads. “Hanna convinced her best friend Phoebe (Kathryn Kohut), who is sad about a recent breakup, to join her. When they arrive at the hotel, Hanna is dazzled with its icy wonder and meets Ben (Lund), the designer and co-owner.”
However, as her best friend begins reconnecting with her ex, Hanna finds herself spending more time with Ben, and she quickly starts to help him try a critic, while also falling in love.
“Along the way, Hanna feels herself falling for Ben,” the synopsis reads. “When Ben offers Hanna an opportunity she always wished for, will Hannah’s doubts and insecurities take hold or will she find the confidence to make her dreams come true?”
“Baby, It’s Cold Inside” premieres Saturday, May 8 at 9 p.m. EDT on Hallmark Channel.
