What will happen when “Bachelorette” star Rachel Lindsay comes face-to-face with a disgraced contestant? Fans will find out on Monday as DeMario returns to the mansion to plead his case after being exposed in episode 2 for having a girlfriend.

According to a synopsis from ABC, the Season 13 cast-off will try to convince Rachel that he’s worthy of a second chance. He’ll show up at the “Bachelorette” mansion during a cocktail party, which previews suggest won’t sit well with the rest of the cast. It’s unclear what Rachel will ultimately decide, but her mind seemed pretty made up about DeMario when she booted him from the show the first time around.

After that’s handled, Rachel and her remaining suitors will resume their normal schedule of group outings, solo dates and rose ceremonies. In Season 13, episode 3 of “The Bachelorette,” she’ll bring six suitors with her to appear on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” where they’ll be asked to strip for a good cause. Later in the episode, eight of Rachel’s guys will mud wrestle for her affection in an event organized by “The Bachelorette” star’s close friends.

It’s not clear which member of the “Bachelorette” cast will be chosen for solo time with Rachel, though the mystery man will join the lawyer-turned-reality-star for an unconventional outing. According to the network synopsis, Rachel will bring her guy along for a horseback ride down Rodeo Drive before going on a little shopping spree.

Bachelor Nation has been anxiously awaiting the arrival of Monday’s episode after Season 13, episode 2 of “The Bachelorette” ended on a jaw-dropping cliffhanger. During the episode, half the cast joined Rachel to shoot hoops at a local high school with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. In the midst of all the fun, Rachel got a surprise visit from a woman claiming to be DeMario’s girlfriend.

The woman in question claimed to have text messages to back her story. She told Rachel that DeMario ghosted on her days before his Season 13 “Bachelorette” debut. He attempted to play it cool and deny knowing her, but came clean when she threatened to share their text exchanges with Rachel.

DeMario was kicked out of the “Bachelorette” house, but nothing was more embarrassing than the proverbial beating he took on social media. Twitter users couldn’t help but mock his pain. Within minutes of the reveal, DeMario had gone viral.

Rachel was warned about the California native early in Season 13 of “The Bachelorette.” Whitney Fransway, who appeared on Season 21 of “The Bachelor” with her, revealed that another co-star was familiar with DeMario. She claimed his intentions for being on the show may not be pure, but Rachel was hesitant to listen as she wanted to formulate her own opinions on each of her suitors.

While DeMario probably won’t make it much further in the spotlight, “Bachelorette” fans have their eyes on the finish line. Many have been trying to speculate which three men will find themselves vying for Rachel’s heart in the final episodes of Season 13. Bachelor Nation spoiler blogger Reality Steve and super fan Jimmy Kimmel seem to agree it’ll be Eric Bigger, Bryan Abasolo and Peter Krauss in the final three.

Peter is thought to be the overall winner of Season 13 of “The Bachelorette” and Rachel’s current fiancé. Although rumors about him popping the question in the finale have been widely circulating, fans were in an uproar over a possible spoiler Rachel posted on Instagram. Some thought they spotted Peter over Rachel’s shoulder in a video posted on her Instagram story over the weekend, though sources assure TMZ that the man is question is actually just a friend of Rachel’s.

“Sources at the party tell us the guy in the background is a friend of Rachel’s and absolutely NOT Peter,” TMZ reported. “If it were him, Rachel would be in hot water with producers. She’s banned from hanging out with ANY of the contestants while the show’s airing.”

You’ll just have to tune in to “The Bachelorette” Mondays at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
