‘Basketball Wives’ Star Jackie Christie Defends Herself On Instagram After Evelyn Lozada Drama

Jackie Christie is known to bring the drama on “Basketball Wives” Season 6 but this time around it seems like the reality star wants to be on the other side of the confrontation.

On Wednesday, Jackie took to Instagram in an effort to tell fans not to listen to all the rumors they hear about her following the drama between herself, her estranged daughter Ta’Kari Lee and her “Basketball Wives” Season 6 co-stars Evelyn Lozada and Tami Roman.

“Think it’s time I share a little bit more about me and my life with y’all since so many of you ‘Think’ you may know, but really [you’re] just being fed BS, hey, I get it, it’s easier to believe lies and propaganda,” she wrote.

“I’ve always been on to keep quiet about abusive untruths when it comes to my public life & profile, as I know all too well it’s nearly impossible to correct or change public opinion once you allow satire and total fabrication to be spread to the masses,” she continued her lengthy Instagram post.

“So at this point I’m not going to try to change the mind of anyone I’m simply going to speak from my heart to all of you in hopes you get a glimpse into my world from a different more private perspective,” Jackie wrote.

Although Jackie’s post seemingly intended to put the drama behind her, Ta’Kari quickly let the VH1 star’s fans know that Jackie’s words were all a lie and the two are still on bad terms.

“Lies and propaganda slander and extortion...all because I didn’t ask her for help...with valid reason!!!” Ta’kari wrote in Jackie’s comments section.

The drama started when Evelyn donated money to Ta’Kari’s Go Fund Me page after the young mother asked for help to pay her son’s medical expenses following a burn injury that he suffered while in daycare.

After donating the money, Evelyn left a message for Ta’Kari. “Nothing can prepare us to deal with such an unfortunate incident. I can only imagine, as a mother the anguish that you are going through. God doesn’t give us more than we handle, stay strong, do your best always and he will lead the way. My thoughts and prayers are with you, your baby and loved ones,” she wrote.

However, it seemed like once cast member Tami Roman caught wind of the donation, she tried to turn Jackie against Evelyn. She has since denied trying to pit the two against each other insisting that editing on VH1’s behalf made her look like the bad guy.

Tami and Evelyn have their own history of issues from years ago. The two were once friends, but Evelyn revealed that she was dating Tami’s ex-husband Kenny Anderson while Tami was still married to him. She insisted she was unaware of their marriage.

Upon learning the information, Tami and Evelyn have been at war ever since with no prospect of friendship in sight. The latest drama with the ladies involving Jackie just seems to have strained their relationship even more.

Although it seems like everyone involved in the incident has been trying to move on, this dramatic moment in their lives is far from over.
