An image of Batman’s Batwing aircraft -- from “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” a forthcoming film starring Ben Affleck -- has been revealed by fanboy journalist Umberto Gonzalez on his Instagram account. The image shows concept art of Batman’s aircraft and has been captioned as HI-RES #BATWING #promo #art from #BatmanvSuperman 2/2 RT. Two images of Batwing were shared by Gonzalez and it showed it from different angles.

From the promo art it can be seen that the Batwing might have extensions, which could make room for Batman’s weapons. It should be known that these images of Batwing have not been officially revealed by DC Universe. Interestingly, this is not the first time that Umberto has revealed artwork related to the film. He previously shared promo art of Batman and Wonderwoman’s costumes.

Meanwhile, it seems Batman is going to have a loads of paraphernalia in the film. An image of the Batmobile has already been officially released, as film director Zack Snyder reveal on his official account.

Affleck said the new film will be a unique take on the Bruce Wayne/Batman character. “The idea for the new Batman is to redefine him in a way that doesn’t compete with the [Christian] Bale and Chris Nolan Batman but still exists within the Batman canon. It will be an older and wiser version, particularly as he relates to Henry Cavill’s Superman character,” he added, as the Independent reported.

“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” is currently in post-production and little has been revealed in terms of the film’s storyline. Apart from Batman and Superman appearing together, one of the interesting points is the appearance of Aquaman, who will be played by Jason Momoa. (His poster has also been released officially by Snyder.)

“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” is scheduled to be released March 25, 2016. It will also feature Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter and Gal Gadot.
