Ben Affleck Pursuing Relationship With Jennifer Lawrence, Wants To Work With Oscar Winner On New Movie: Report
“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” star Ben Affleck has an eye on a new woman after his divorce from Jennifer Garner: Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence. The claim was reported by Radar Online, which added that Affleck admires J-Law’s film work.
One of the things Affleck, 43, finds alluring about Lawrence, 25, is that she is like Garner “used to be,” Radar Online wrote in an exclusive report Tuesday. The mother of his three children — Violet, Seraphina and Samuel — “was once the new ‘it’ girl,” too, the outlet’s source said.
Lawrence is one of the most popular actresses in Hollywood. Most recently, she was nominated for an Oscar for best actress for her work in “Joy,” the David O. Russell-directed film that also starred Bradley Cooper.
Cooper has starred in three movies with J-Law since they appeared in “Silver Linings Playbook,” and now Affleck apparently wants to be her new leading man. “They’ve been emailing and talking about scripts,” Radar Online’s source said. “He wants to get coffee or lunch with her, and he’s trying to do what he normally does, which is to arrange a ‘working date’ in Ventura,” outside Los Angeles, “to stay off the radar.”
His supposed infatuation with the young star has left Garner envious. “There’s that jealousy thing, because everyone wants J-Law in their films, including her ex!” the source said. “Jennifer hates that Ben usually gets whatever he wants.”
While a story about Affleck wanting to date another Jennifer is quite juicy, it’s just a farce, according to Gossip Cop. The website regularly calls out phony stories about celebrities and reported Affleck wanting to date Lawrence was nothing more than gossip. “Affleck is not currently pursuing Lawrence romantically or professionally,” the publication wrote Tuesday. “In fact, one of our contacts even sniped that Radar Online is not the place to go to for ‘correct’ news.”
