Benji Madden Expresses Love For Wife Cameron Diaz On Her 49th Birthday [Photo]

Cameron Diaz got the sweetest tribute from her husband Benji Madden on her 49th birthday. Diaz’s husband of six years took to Instagram on Monday to express his love for her.

Posting a photo of a painting, Madden wrote, “Happy birthday to my wife, you are beautiful in all ways, we are so lucky to have you.” He also took the chance to convey his appreciation for Diaz by letting her know how much he loves her.

“What you do, who you are day in and day out to the ones you love always true blue—hard to put it all in an IG post but I love to have a reason to say it out loud I love you,” added the singer-songwriter.

The post drew lots of heart reactions from fans, including Madden’s twin brother Joel. He commented on the post with three heart emojis and called Diaz “the best.”

Diaz, 49, and Madden, 42, have been married for six years.

The last time Diaz appeared on the big screen was seven years ago, when she played Ms. Hannigan in the 2014 movie “Annie.”

In an interview earlier this year, she told SiriusXM’s Bruce Bozzi about how motherhood has impacted her life, especially after deciding to step out of the limelight.

Diaz went on to share how much she has been enjoying motherhood, saying she couldn’t imagine herself being away from her child during tapings. “I couldn’t imagine, being a mom now, where I’m at as a mother with my child at her first year, to have to be on a movie set that takes 14 hours, 16 hours of my day away from my child. I just couldn’t,” she explained.

Diaz also revealed she’s not closing her doors to Hollywood, saying she’s not the type of person who says never about anything in life.

“I’m never going to say never about anything in life,” she said. “I’m just not that person. So will I ever make a movie again? I’m not looking to. But will I? I don’t know. I have no idea,” she added.
