Beyoncé Baby: Fans Congratulate ‘Mama Tina’ for Daughter, Grandchild on Her Birthday

The Beyoncé baby watch is intense as ever as fans eagerly await the birth of her first child with husband rapper Jay-Z. But another birth needed some celebration Wednesday.

Fans took to Twitter on Wednesday to write a Happy Birthday Mama Tina to Beyoncé's mother, Tina Knowles. The hashtag began trending late Wednesday afternoon.

Twitter users flooded the site with greetings, making sure to mention her daughter. Happy Birthday Mama Tina.....I could never thank you enough for creating Beyoncé, tweeted one fan. No one will say anything bad about Tina she gave birth to the Queen, and I've seen her in person she's hawt! Happy Birthday Mama Tina wrote another, bearing a Twitter handle with Beyonce's name in it.

Others made sure to congratulate her on her grandchild Happy Birthday Mama Tina, I Hope U & Ur Grandbaby Share The Same Beyday ! wrote one user. Happy Birthday Mama Tina , Please tell me that Beyoncé and Jay gave you another grandchild for your B'DAY :D wrote another.

Tina Knowles turned 58 Wednesday. She is a fashion designer known for her work with Beyoncé on the clothing line House of Deréon. She designed many of the costumes for Destiny's Child as well. Tina will soon be a proud grandmother to her second grandbaby. Daughter Solange has a son.

Rumors continue to flare regarding her soon-to-be-delivered grandchild. Beyonce was set to give birth Wednesday, according to a claim by the Web site Media Takeout. As of 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, the 30-year-old superstar had yet to have the child.

Gossip has been spreading since Christmas that Beyoncé had already given birth. Last week, Twitter users picked up word that Beyoncé had had a baby girl and named her Tiana May Carter. Then reports said she would be giving birth at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital in New York City .

On New Year's Eve, the singer was supposed to make an appearance at Dick Clark's Rockin' New Year's Eve 2012 but failed to show. Co-host Ryan Seacrest announced that she could not make it because she's about to give birth.

Obviously, Beyoncé couldn't be here tonight because she's about to give birth to her first child, Seacrest said. A pre-recording of her performing I Was Here in London played instead.
