‘Big Bang Theory’ Star Kaley Cuoco Worries Johnny Galecki Dating Rumors Will Hurt Ex Ryan Sweeting

Even though Kaley Cuoco is in the middle of divorcing tennis pro Ryan Sweeting, the 30-year-old actress doesn’t want rumors about her dating life hurting him. While discussing her breakup from Sweeting, Cuoco says she doesn’t like to see reports linking her to ex-boyfriend and “Big Bang Theory” co-star Johnny Galecki.

“Johnny and I are very close now,” she explains in Cosmopolitan’s April issue. “But the worst part about it is I don’t want stories like that, especially during this divorce, to hurt my ex.”

She continues, “We have nods with each other. Johnny and I do this thing like a nod that says, ‘I got you. I get it.’”

Cuoco, who filed for divorce in September after 18 months of marriage, tells the magazine that while her split from Sweeting has changed her views on marriage, she “cannot wait to be in love again.”

Cuoco and Galecki, who secretly dated for two years before splitting in 2009, sparked rumors they were back together when they were spotted getting close backstage at the People’s Choice Awards in January.

As previously reported, the pair was photographed holding hands and Cuoco was also seen playfully grabbing his face. The CBS stars, who play married couple Penny and Leonard on “Big Bang Theory,” shut down rumors they were back together in October.

After reports surfaced accusing Galecki of playing a role in her and Sweeting’s divorce, Cuoco posted an Instagram photo of her and her ex writing in the caption: “So sorry to disappoint, but no homewreckers or secret flings going on here. Me and [Johnny] are just the best of buds — Leonard and Penny will just have to suffice!!!”
