But Cody’s eviction is not one of the two major surprises in the hit CBS reality TV competition this week. First, three people voted to evict Ramses Soto when the entire house thought that everyone will vote for Cody. To make things even more shocking, Christmas Abbott, who isn’t a fan of Cody or Jessica Graf, voted to evict Ramses instead of Cody. But Christmas couldn’t be blamed because she voted from the hospital after undergoing surgery. It is therefore possible that the last conversation she had with Paul Abrahamian was that they would evict Ramses instead of Cody. Jessica and Kevin Schlehuber also voted to evict Ramses.
Another shocker on Thursday night’s episode had to do with host Julie Chen’s announcement. Evicted contestants Cody, Jillian Parker and Cameron Heard will all have the chance to return to the game following a Battle Back competition. The battle between the three evicted houseguests will air on a special Friday episode next week.
Meanwhile, a new Head of Household (HOH) has just been crowned. All of the houseguests except for Paul and Christmas participated in the competition. In the end, Alex Ow, a certified competition beast, won the HOH, according to Big Brother Network. She, Jason Dent and Elena Davies were the last three houseguests who managed to stand on a very small piece of block for the longest time. But Jason threw the competition after he was guaranteed safety by whoever wins.
Alex’s win could shake up the entire household. Since Alex is an outsider and she’s playing an individual game, she could target Paul’s team. Earlier this week, Paul put her up as a pawn and even though Alex agreed, she wasn’t necessarily pleased with Paul’s game move. Alex is closest to Ramses, and she used to be close to Kevin until Ramses reminded her to be careful since Kevin can’t be trusted.
“Big Brother” Season 19 will return to CBS on Sunday at 8 p.m. EDT.
