'The Blacklist' Season 2 Spoilers: Episode 16 Synopsis Released; What Will Happen In 'Tom Keen'? [VIDEO]

The Tom Keen (Ryan Eggold) hints in Season 2 of NBC’s “The Blacklist” are getting out of hand. First, promos teased the character’s return in episode 14, when the spy appeared only for a total of four minutes on-screen. Then, episode 15 was largely spent recapping just why it was so important find Tom in the first place. Will Red (James Spader) and Liz (Megan Boone) ever actually track him down? Episode 16 might hold the answer: Its title is “Tom Keen,” for crying out loud!

According to the synopsis, mounting evidence against Liz in the harbormaster murder case -- in episode 15, the cops found a shell casing that proved it was Liz’s gun that was used in the crime -- forces Red and Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) to kick their search for Tom into high gear. Liz’s double-crossing husband is the only person who can clear her name. Red has a lead on where they can find him, but it will send Red and Ressler to Dresden, Germany, where Tom has been hanging out undercover with a group of skinheads.

The promo for the new episode shows that Red and Ressler will come face-to-face with the elusive Tom, but will they be able to bring him back to bail out Liz? Tom’s new “friends” seem like a rough bunch, and it may take a little effort to get him out of Germany alive.

Will Red and Ressler be able to bring back Tom in time to keep Liz out of prison? Fans will have to wait to find out. “The Blacklist” is shown on NBC Thursdays at 9 p.m. EDT.
