NBC has released “The Blacklist” Season 4, episode 5 synopsis, which teases that Liz may have some hard choices to make in the next installment. In the past episodes, the people around Liz haven’t exactly inspired trust and confidence. Red remains just as secretive. Alexander Kirk (Ulrich Thomsen) might be telling the truth that he’s her biological father, but he also hid many things from her, including the rare genetic disease that forced him to seek out his only child after all these years. Tom (Ryan Eggold), like Liz, only wants to rescue their daughter Agnes, but he’s proven that he’s not above going behind his wife’s back to do whatever it takes to get closer to Kirk.
In “The Blacklist” Season 4, episode 5, Liz and Red’s tattered relationship could be tested yet again. Based on the synopsis, Red is moving forward with his plan to use Kirk’s hematologist, Dr. Sebastian Reifler, to find his location. But it’s possible that Liz might do something to intercept him because she learns that Red might have been lying to her again.
