Bobbi Kristina Brown Update: Leolah Brown Posts Cryptic Message About 'Evil Deed' Amid Niece's Death Probe
Bobbi Kristina Brown’s aunt penned a new cryptic message on her Facebook account Sunday. Leolah Brown, who previously slammed the Houstons for her niece’s suffering, did not mention any names in the post.
Leolah has been vocal on social media since Bobbi Kristina’s hospitalization in January that led to her death on July 26. The daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston died at the age of 22 after remaining in an unresponsive state for months. Leolah blamed Pat Houston for Bobbi Kristina’s condition, accusing her of manipulating everyone.
“For every evil deed there are consequence and repercussions...,” Leolah wrote on Facebook.
The post follows Bobby Brown’s first interview since his daughter's death. The singer and his wife, Alicia Etheredge-Brown, were interviewed on “The Real” Monday, two months after Bobbi Kristina's passing.
“We prayed and hoped for six months ... for something better to happen," Brown said in the interview. "But when God calls you, he calls you."
In several Facebook posts, Leolah vowed to bring justice to Bobbi Kristina and Whitney Houston. Whitney died in 2012 after being found in similar circumstances at a hotel in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles.
“It's been a tough trial & journey for me. However, it has just begun! But as always -- I'm keeping my faith in God! And I will make sure that my sister Whitney Houston Brown and my niece Bobbi Kristina Brown has not left us in vain! HANG IN THERE WITH ME," Leolah had written in a post last month.
Leolah had claimed that Whitney had made her the legal guardian of Bobbi Kristina, and that Pat was present at the time of the decision.
The Browns and the Houstons have been feuding since Bobbi Kristina was hospitalized after being found facedown in a bathtub at her Atlanta home on Jan. 31. Their battle continued over Bobbi Kristina's funeral arrangements and leaked photos of the late aspiring actress.
Police are investigating Bobbi Kristina’s death as homicide and a lawsuit has been filed against Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend Nick Gordon. A preliminary autopsy on Bobbi Kristina showed no significant injuries or obvious cause of death.
Bedelia Hargrove, Bobbi Kristina’s legal conservator, filed an amended lawsuit this month against Nick Gordon, alleging that he drugged his girlfriend with a “toxic cocktail,” and then drowned her in a bathtub. The 25-year-old is also accused of abusing Bobbi Kristina and stealing her money.
Earlier this week, Gordon filed a motion to dismiss the $10 million wrongful death lawsuit filed against him by Bobbi Kristina’s estate in June.
