Bobbi Kristina Brown Update: Nick Gordon To Face Murder Charges ‘Very Soon'; Leolah Brown ‘Determined’ To Get Justice
Bobbi Kristina Brown’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon, could “very soon” face murder charges over her girlfriend’s death, Radar Online reported late Monday. The daughter of Bobby Brown and late Whitney Houston died on July 26 at the age of 22 after remaining in an unresponsive state for months in several medical facilities.
According to a source, Georgia’s district attorney is working to set up a grand jury to bring charges against Gordon, who is suspected of foul play in Bobbi Kristina’s death.
“The District Attorney is convening a secret grand jury and it’s likely to result in charges against Nick Gordon,” the source told Radar Online. “It’s likely the other people in the house the morning she was found unresponsive will be called to testify. But it doesn’t appear that Nick will be called because the D.A. doesn’t want to give away their hand in preparation of a possible trial.”
Bobbi Kristina Brown was found face-down in a bathtub at her Atlanta home on Jan. 31. The aspiring actress remained in coma for months and was later taken off all medication after being admitted to the Peachtree Christian Hospice Care, where she died.
Bobbi Kristina Brown’s family filed a $40 million wrongful death lawsuit against Gordon alleging that he physically abused his girlfriend and also stole her money. In August, Bobbi Kristina Brown's conservator Bedelia Hargrove filed an amended lawsuit against Gordon, alleging he gave Houston's daughter a "toxic cocktail" shortly before she was found in the bathtub.
Last week, reports surfaced that the Fulton County medical examiner knew the cause of Bobbi Kristina Brown’s death, but was ordered by a judge to keep the findings sealed.
Bobby Brown’s lawyer, Christopher Brown, pointed at Gordon as being responsible for Bobbi Kristina Brown's death.
Meanwhile, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s aunt, Leolah Brown, who has been vocal on social media since her niece’s hospitalization, took to her Facebook account stating that she is “determined” to get justice.
“I have been constantly working hard to bring JUSTICE to my niece Bobbi Kristina Brown and her mother, my sister, Whitney Houston Brown,” she wrote. “As I stated before, it has just begun! Therefore, please continue to have faith in God that, JUSTICE WILL BE SERVED! KNOW that I am "determined" to get justice for them both.”
Whitney Houston was found dead in 2012 at a hotel in Beverly Hills under similar circumstances as her daughter.
Leolah Brown called on her fans to pray for her in her fight.
There are many games being played by those who supposedly love and care for Bobbi Kriss & Whitney. Yet, these very same people diligently work hard to keep the truth covered. However, I serve and only fear a God who is guiding and protecting me, make no mistake about that. I just ask that you, like me, be patient and continue to be a support system for my niece and sister. I promise you that their deaths will not in any way be in vain! Those who care nothing for my sister and niece are wishing & hoping that Leolah will shut up and NOT seek JUSTICE for them. Yet, I am determined to bring those persons who are certainly guilty and responsible for their murders to JUSTICE!
