‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers: Maya Learns The Truth About Nicole’s Condition

They could sense that something was different with Nicole, and it prompted them to return to Los Angeles early. Now, back from Paris, Maya and Rick will get clued in as to why her sister has seemed more attached to Lizzie than ever before on the Thursday, June 8 episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

While in Paris, Maya (Karla Mosley) was offered an opportunity for even more modeling gigs, which she initially took. However, after she and Rick (Jacob Young) noted hostility during phone calls with Nicole (Reign Edwards), who was watching Lizzie for them, they decided to cut the trip short on the CBS soap and return home to their daughter.

Now, back in L.A., Maya is ecstatic to be reunited with her daughter, though the happiness could quickly fade when she decides to ask Nicole what her comments about Maya being more devoted to pursuing fame than she was to her daughter were about. Nicole will be forced to tell Maya about how she and Zende (Rome Flynn) have been trying to get pregnant, and after she was having no success, she went to the doctor, where she learned that scarring from when she carried Lizzie for Rick and Maya has made her more likely to be infertile now.

“She told me I may not be able to have another child,” Nicole admits in a preview clip.

Maya will be stunned, and the news will make it easier for her to understand Nicole’s hostility and comments. Not only did she give up nine months of her life, Nicole also gave up a daughter that is biologically hers, to a sister who she believed would be a good mother. Now, because she may have given up her only chance to have a child at all as well, she is resentful that her sister has her baby, and isn’t always doing things for her, which was what happened when she extended her stay in Paris by a few days.

However, aware that Nicole may be resentful, Maya will try to reassure her sister that she has nothing to worry about, because she genuinely believes the two of them will have children of their own some day, and this will all eventually be behind them.

“You gave us Lizzie, and you will give Zende another little girl or boy just like her,” she says in the clip.

Meanwhile, at the Forrester offices, Zende will be wondering why Rick is back at work when he was still supposed to be in Paris, and Rick will imply that the shortened trip was because Maya wanted to get home to Lizzie more than she wanted to shoot another campaign.

“We were going to stay longer, Maya had another shoot,” he says. “But uh, we both missed Lizzie so much, and Maya had to get back home to our daughter.”
