‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Spoilers: Will Brooke Hurt Hope’s Chances?
She believes Steffy is trying to manipulate Ridge’s difficult decision to work in her favor as a means of punishing Hope for being the one who got Liam in the end. Now, Brooke will confront Steffy, but her intentions of trying to help her own daughter could backfire on her when the battle forces Ridge to take action on the Monday, Sept. 10 episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful.”
Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) previously revealed that either Hope (Annika Noelle) or Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) would have to cease production on their fashion lines, touching off a new rivalry between the women, who had struck a truce and were finally getting along. Since then, Steffy has asked Hope to back off and let her be the one to keep her line since Hope has Liam (Scott Clifton). The other woman refused, and Steffy went to her father to make a new case for herself, admitting that she needed her line because it was hard to see Hope and Liam working together every day.
However, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) knows what Steffy is up to, and has gone to confront the woman on the CBS soap. And she won’t hesitate to escalate things as she warns Steffy that she can’t punish Hope for being with Liam when she was the one who pushed them to be together in the first place.
“Stop lashing out at Hope because Liam chose her instead of you!” Brooke screams in a preview clip for the episode.
Unfortunately, Brooke’s confrontation may do more harm than good when it comes to trying to help her daughter. Steffy will naturally defend herself, and as their fight becomes more vocal, Ridge will likely race in to break it up. Realizing he can’t keep everyone in limbo anymore, he will know he needs to reveal his final decision. And while Brooke may have believed she was helping Hope, she may have done more harm than good, as Steffy will emerge victoriously, and Hope will be left without her line.
“The Bold and the Beautiful” airs weekdays at 1:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
